Accordion Instruction by Lou Fanucchi
Lou Fanucchi's accordion teaching began in 1985. Finding an accomplished accordion instructor in North America proficient and performs in numerous styles and able to fuse them together in an instructive atmosphere is rare. Lou teaches individuals instruction and class instruction as well (3 years).
A protégé of accordion icon Anthony Galla-Rini, Lou obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in accordion performance from San Diego State University. He garnered a deep knowledge of theory, harmony, counterpoint, form, improvisation, various ethnic music and an understanding of what it takes to crossover into multi flavors of music using "ornamental seasonings" to capture the particular taste of a country, lineage or ethnicity.
Lou accepts all levels-beginner,intermediate, advanced-people who have never played and many who are getting back "into" playing.
"I meet people where they are at and we go from there. I teach what I know about accordion playing/performance -which is allot. I've learned and absorbed from the best- including experience itself."
